Donalda Jones knows the situation well of what it is like to be a caregiver for a child with a high level of physical disability. Her son Steven with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy was one of the more than 5.3 million Canadians (or of the almost 16% of the population in Canada/or) living with some form of disability that affects their level of freedom, independence, or quality of life.
In this half-hour television documentary, we will go inside Donalda’s world to discover how she found a solution not only to help Steven live a more fulfilled and inclusive life and keep her and her family from burnout and exhaustion, but to help so many others to do what seems impossible.
